The Carrsville Volunteer Fire Department responds to emergencies 24 hours a day 365 days a year and protects Southern Isle of Wight County along with portions of the City of Franklin and the City of Suffolk.

The Isle of Wight County Fair, held on the Joel C. Bradshaw Fairgrounds at Heritage Park, is rapidly approaching.  The Isle of Wight County Fair is the only true agricultural celebration in Hampton Roads with 35 acres packed with truck and tractor pulls, an ATV course, lawnmower races, animals, pies, crafts, family stage entertainment, 4-H events, livestock, bull-riding, clown & magic shows, pageant queens, and much more-not to mention fireworks, great food, funnel cakes, a midway and national acts on the main stage each night.  There is something for everyone at the Fair!

Spring Lake Bottled Water is a locally owned and operated company which services all of Hampton Roads, Virginia. Spring Lake's product line includes spring water and distilled water delivered in 3-gallon or 5-gallon returnable bottles as well as 12 ounce, 16.9 ounce, 20 ounce and 1 liter sport bottles delivered by the case.  They also offer office coffee service and water filtration equipment.
